Listen. I got the game and I made my first friend. As you can see, I chose to be a rogue (excellent choice), and he had chosen to be a Warlock (seemingly better choice).

Now in the beginning it was all fun and games. Killing things, getting our level, no big deal right? As we got higher, we ran into real issues.

Everytime an item dropped, no matter what it was, he would say "It is better suited for a Warlock", and click the Need button. At first I didn't question him, thinking that he must have done his research. However, as this went on, I figured I would ask him.

Now I know if an item has intelligence, it will help me raise my weapon skills faster, which is vital for a rogue, because I am all about my weapons. But he says, no he needs the intelligence for his energy. Then, if an item has strength, I know I need it to hit harder. He says, no, he needs it because his normal attack is not high. He needs to make each one count. Fine.

An item dropped that had stamina for health. Mine right? I am a rogue, I need to be able to absorb damage, but yet deal a high amount of it. No. He said he needs to keep his health bar as high as possible!

You can see where I am going with this. Every drop should have been mine, by my explanation. Yet he took it for himself. I can't stand it anymore. I finally said, listen maybe you don't know everything. He said, fine, type in this command : /who Warlock. He said find the HIGHEST LEVEL warlock you can, and keep messaging him on each item, asking who it should go to. After messaging several warlocks for over a period of an hour, I realised that not only were they selfish, but very very rude too. The majority did not reply to me. The few that did said 'yes sure it's for a warlock', or 'give it to the lock'. They would link to me purple coloured items and laugh. Few would answer more than a few questions, although I added many to my friends list and message them whenever I'm online.

So good luck to you guys. I am a rogue, and I will not be in a group with a warlock, because guess what, I want to get some items too. Guess what, just because you can wear everything, doesn't mean that others should be naked. Guess what, congratulations on making the most greedy unit. This is a social game, and you just lost a friend.

Wait, you met a jerk and are blaming the entire class? Good job with the logical reasoning there bud.

Learn your class and what stats benifit you. Roll accordingly. You are only lvl 14 you'll be trading out those greens rather quick so no big loss.

agil and str are for rogues and some stam occasionally

2 biggest things for warlocks are intelligence and stamina(bigger for warlocks than rogues).

so the only thing hes full of it on is the strength warlocks dont need str spirit or agil

You must be racist too.

But anyways, warlock can only wear cloth Not everything.

Every gear dropped, he get cloth, you get leather
SIMPLE!

everything else is just for sell//vendor

At lvl 14, there is not ring/necklace drops, so dont even worry about it.

weapon wise, rogue get the damg weapon like dagger with agil/str and sword, he gets staff and dagger with int

level up more, and you will understand more.
Secretly, I know Warlocks are overpowered.

I didn't make this post out of the blue. When I figured that he had done his research, I did my own.

All the items mentioned above should have gone to me. I have nothing but my weapons, therefore I need to be the best at using them. How can I be the best if I don't have more intelligence, and I don't get my skill faster than the others around? It doesn't make sense.

How can you say that the Warlock needs stamina, yet I need stamina? I need the stamina for my health. My role is to absorb as much damage as I can in the fight, but yet at the same time deal more damage than I have absorbed. Using this tactic, I kill things, while my warlock EX-FRIEND would put spells on it. Now explain to me why he needed my health?

If you're trying to change my mind about grouping with warlocks, sorry. I have added many to my friends list, but not because they are friends. Simply to keep a track of who they are, and who not to group with, because sometimes you can't tell immediately what unit they chose.

If you are trying to apologise for another person's behaviour, don't try to do it while telling me that he should get the items. You can't burn your bread while you're putting butter on it.

Hmmmm. Let's see:

(1) STA: this is the warlock's most important stat. Yes, all classes need STA, but for a warlock STA is vital since health can be converted into mana when needed.

(2) INT: this is the warlock's second most important stat. Gotta have mana to keep casting. While I can understant that you would want some STA as well, there is zero reason that you as a Rogue need INT. Your weapon skills will go up fast enough with practice. You should never be rolling on INT items over a caster class.

(3) STR: this is worthless to a warlock. No clue why he would want STR items. While AGI is better for you, STR is still important for Rogues. The lock was wrong on this one (unless there was something else about the item that made it more suited to a caster than a melee.

(4) Armor: you wear leather, he wears cloth. There will be no fighting over drops in this category.

(5) It's one person. Maybe he's a greedy, selfish jerk. And don't take it personally that some high level locks ignored you. Many high level players of ANY class will ignore you. Getting peppered with tells from new players asking for handouts, escorts through low-end instances, more handouts, etc gets old real fast. /tells from unknown players are often ignored by people.

I'm pretty certain this is a troll ... but on the off chance it's not:

Strength = Rogue. Not their most important stat but warlocks don't use it ... at all.

Agility = Rogue. No doubt about it, it's their most important stat. No warlock should roll over a rogue on agility items.

Stamina = Both, although leaning slightly towards warlocks. Many warlocks consider this their most important stat as they can actually use lifetap to convert it to mana, ensuring they have more than just survivability as a use for it.

Intelligence = Warlock all the way. Int means mana and spell crit. Rogues use neither. Weapon skill, at the speed rogues use their weapons, will raise easily as they level no matter how low their Int is.

Spirit = Slightly favors warlocks. Neither really care for it, but given mana usage, a bit of mana regen can be nice.

Then again, take into consideration the gear. Warlocks can only wear cloth, rogues are designed for leather, neither can wear mail or plate. So warlocks should take whatever cloth they need unless it has very very obvious rogue stats, rogues should roll need on leather items that favor melee dps and not mana usage. Both classes should roll greed on mail and plate.

Again, this has definately got to be a troll post because a high level warlocks may laugh or tease, but would never answer dishonestly at such obvious questions in a serious manner.

All items should have gone to you eh?

1) If they were cloth, you dont want them. You need ARMOUR to absorb damage too, so why would you wear cloth?
2) The people above said good stuff about the stats, my lock has more hp than alot of rogues cos locks NEED stamina. We're like cloth tanks- Life Tap FTW!! You dont need int. Thats dumb. He doesnt need Str. Thats also dumb.
3) Weapons shouldnt be an issue - unless he rolls on a sword/dagger that has +str and +agi lol.

Really, its a dumb example. If its cloth, its more suited to a lock than a rogue (generally).

I didn't list all the items that he was rolling on, becase as I said above, you can see where I'm going.

Obviously I gave you people too much credit.

I have taken enough abuse from ingame Warlocks. I added them to my friends, but let me re-emphasise, THEY ARE NOT MY FRIENDS. I do not have to take this from you guys too. There is a rogue forum, where there are a lot of high level rogues. Do not think I'm alone and will be intimidated.

Let me tell you what he said about the agility. He told me, like for strength, his attacks do very little damage. He wants to make sure that when he hits, he will do the most damage. Also, he said that his health was very low. He wants to increase the chance of people missing him. I said alright, that made sense to me.

But it was the other things that annoyed me. Sometimes, when a item was red for me, I would give it to him. But I would not see him using the item. I said, it was red I can't use it. He said, yes it is for Warlocks.

I took all these concerns to the Warlocks on my friends list. Do you doubt that they answered me disrespectfully? Do not make me name them and shame them. Now it says that the person is ignoring you, and I do not see them anymore. It is like a constant problem with me updating my list.

If rogues play the most vital role in the game, I don't see why you would want to disconnect yourselves with them, just out of greed.

I love it. 10 points friend.

Seriously... nice work.

In fact, bonus points for your rogue thinking intel matters, and additional points for the Warlock wanting to hit things.

Raid Buffed, I have 500 stam, 400ish Intel and a grand total of 50ish strength and 50ish agility. (spirit is like 150, but who cares)

----------

Your amusing ideals aside.

If hes rolling on leather, he sucks.
If you are crying `cause you dont get cloth, you suck.

If its mail, neither of you will ever use it, vendor, shard, no-one cares.
